Anyone else found other temporary hobbies inthis gaming lul?

As there seems to be absolutely nothing worth buying at the moment (360), I've decided to build myself a nitro engine remote control car. I'm waiting for august/september when the games start rolling again.

I realise some of you will say things like 'prototype' etc, but there really isnt anything truely exciting out at the moment. Just more race pro/forza etc.

I have been re-learning to play piano instead of wasting my evenings doing endless laps of boring circuits on GT5p (PS3).

I'm getting quite good on the old ivories again

ETA When/if the full GT5 comes out, the sweet music will stop!

Yeah I've been learning to ride a motorbike. Buying games would have been a lot cheaper though.

I've finally started on that list of jobs around the house my wife wrote last year! Sanding, varnishing, painting, there'll be some patio-laying next month...

Swapped the 360 for the brother's ps2 and took a few cars out in GT4, the Ginetta is a lot of fun! Also, I'm a late comer to WoW, so I'm still levelling my hunter, though this is taking up more time than I'd like.

As there's nowt decent out on the 360 for a while I've starting thinking about PC Games and upgrading my PC… and thus needing to spend a hideous amount of money to play anything. Which I don't really want to do…

…ps, it's 'lull'. Is San Fran really that boring at the moment?
