Was intending to go to this one, but unfortunately didn`t make it.
Anyone take any pictures, and who won the car of the show?

Love the picture of the Ford V8.

Sorry to hijack this post but could you transplant a Ford 302 into an 3000M series??

Regards

BTW,

If you look at the picture of the Ford installation very quickly you could think that the header tank is connected directly to the servo vacuum inlet!!!

Obviously not the case but the angle of the photo makes both hoses line up.....

We intended to go and planned some nice trips in the Peak District, but unfortunately the Tiv didn't make it...had a great trip until 50 miles before Calais....Next year we'll give it another try!

Antz_Pantz, yes you can transplant a 5 litre Ford V8 into a 3-litre chassis. I previously owned a Taimar which had had a professionally done V8 conversion and it looked as though it had come that way from the factory and it too had air conditioning. The installation was done with no frame cutting whatsoever and the car ran great!

I've got pictures of every single car there if you want.

Got to upload them which might take a while, biggrin.

Lovely Picture.

Makes me even more motivated to sort out getting a 3000M in my life in the next couple of months.

Yeh, I know I could have done that, but I couldn't be bothered, the Photobucket album works, and it doesn't clog up the thread.

It does take an age to download all those pics when you open the page, maybe I need a new valve in my computer

hence why I thought it best to just use the link to my photobucket album, biggrin.

I've just been sat scrolling for about 2 mins waiting for the photos to load before I could get to the bottom of page one to read the posts, biggrin, maybe I should put a 56k warning in the thread title, biggrin

I've changed it to thumbnails to see if it helps, if you want me to delete the post and go back to looking at the link let me know, but I think most of the waiting time is for the photobucket site, so its just as slow when you're on the site, but point taken that you then have the choice.

I've deleted the photo links, sorry this means the thread text may look a bit odd but hey ho.
