It's been talked about for ages and denied,but according to this ferrari are to sign Alonso.

Vettel vs. Alonso in the same car. Almost as exciting as Alonso vs. Hamilton in the same car.3 car teams could harm the sport though. Even fewer points for all the teams bar the top team (unless 3rd car doesn't score?)
It would be very unusual to sign a driver a year in advance.
I dont see why Alonso would agree to it, its not like he needs the money and there is no guarantee that the 2011 ferarri will be competitive. Unless Alonso knows something about Renault that we dont.

I think that a Alonso-Ferrari partnership could be a marriage made in heaven. Kind of like the Schui-Ferrari era. Plus I think Ferrari could do with the 6 tenths Alonso will bring to the team...

Doubt Ferarri would be daft enough to employ him and not utilise his full potential, risking costing themselves both championships in the process, and spunking away their shareholders money on silly games.groomi said:
