Time for a PS3 60GB, where can I get hold of one cheaply?

Evening all,
I've finalled given up with my trustworthy steed, the Playstation 2. It has been somewhat quiet since I sold my Xbox 360 Premium Pack a couple of months back, so I feel I should get back involved and maybe take on some of you on Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
How much money have I got to spend?
Just over £200 Maximum.
I don't mind it being used as long as I get what I pay for, rather than be flogged by some Japanese fraudster.
I would like it to come with it least one controller, two would be better.
As well as that it needs to be compatiable with my PS2 games.

Try going into a CEX shop, they always have some used consoles behind the counter, or they do in my local one. They will be priced individually, so I dunno what you will find. Even with the 60gb, some PS2 games are NOT compatible - I think there is a website where you can check? GT4 is compatible, I know that one for free.
Can't you get a 40gb console? I haven't used anything near the 60gb mine has, and there aren't many substantial differences. If you only want the backwards compatibility, then just keep your PS2 by the tv, it will only be worth pennies now anyway. Be aware that new controllers cost 35 quid each, and it will be unlikely (I would expect) to get 2 controllers with a used console.

Make sure the seller will let you see it running before you view, don't go for any of these dodgey "Oh I'm in portsmouth just mail me the money" scams.
Ebay is another possibility.
60s tend to be pretty overpriced because of the ps2 backward compatibility. You'd be better off buying a new 80 with a warranty.

I'd buy a cheaper 40gb PS3 and a seperate PS2 if you actually got rid of yours. The emulation on the UK PS3s is not brilliant (I know, I have one.) with glitches and graphical errors blighting most games and game breaking bugs in others (try an invincible boss in Kingdom Hearts 2).
The American market 60gb actually came with the PS2 hardware built in and was identical to having a PS2 sat there, it was the cheaper software emulation in the PAL PS3s that was rubbish.

The reason I'm after getting the 60GB, is so that I can get some more money towards the PS3 by selling the PS2. However, as I'm finding they do tend to be fairly dear with the compatibility. 80 GB: £280 - £360
60 GB: £180 - £450
40 gB: £200 - £400
Hmmm, now its just a matter working out a way of getting the money without selling the PS2. Where theres a will theres a way.
