Just been given a box set by a very good friend who is insisting i watch it.

I love South Park and Simpsons, but the talking dog and brainy child has put me off when i've tried the odd episode.

Is it any good? Because it's such a strain to load the DVD these days wink

What the deuce?!! Surely you jest?

Of course it is good. You will not regret dragging yourself to the DVD player.

Well, I certainly think it's funny. They don't half get close to the wire with their jokes....

But if you don't think it's funny then it doesn't really matter what we say, does it? You either like it or you don't..

It's up and down.

Series 7 is O.K

Series 5 is fking rubbish

Series 4 is probably the best.

The others are decent.

In the scale of adult cartoon comedy:

1) South Park
2) Simpsons Series 1-9
3) King of the Hill
4) Family Guy
5) Frisky Dingo
6) Futurama
7) American Dad

A freind of mine kept telling me to watch it. He also likes the simpsons so I thout it would probably be just another trite family orientated pile of obvious and unfunny ste like Simpsons.

But to shut him up I said I would. I didn't get passed the opening credits I can remember thinking WTF is this st its like a musical version of the fking simpsons oh look a family with a son a daughter and a dog, so I turned it off without giving it a try.

How wrong I was.

I could never get into it, until a road trip through France, confined in a Kia of all things with nothing else to do bar a laptop perched on the dashboard showing season 6.

Absolutely hooked now, probably enjoying season 7 the most. Has anyone heard the news?

I bloody love it, got into it about 2 years ago and have now seen every episode at least twice, never gets old. There are some really poor episodes out there, but the brilliant ones more than make up for that. Easily better than any other cartoon, ever.

If you're a Star Wars fan, make sure you watch 'Blue Harvest', it is astonishingly funny. I have never seen a Star Wars film, I still laughed my arse off...
