:faintsdeadaway:

Die Hard 2 a must have, but 4 is rubbish?

Astonishing.

Tell me you saw the 'proper' 4. Not the girly girly Die Hard 4.0 released in the UK, with all the blood and swearing sponged away?

Blood or no blood, Die Hard 4 is st.

Yes 2 isn't great but I assumed it was part of a trilogy box set like I have so needs to be kept.

DH4 is an Oscar worthy masterpiece compared to the drivel that was DH3.

I'd add Road Trip to the DVD collection.

Oh, is there a TVR in it? I only like it for the somewhat revealing shots of a certain Ms. Berry biggrin

Looking across (and trying not to duplicate anything that's gone) I'd throw the following into the mix:

American Graffiti - significant for the cars and the simultaneous following of the characters
Memento - not one to watch as a 'switch-off and be entertained', needs multiple viewings
Lucky Number Slevin - big hitting cast and superb story, doesn't hold back but not gratuitous
Repo Man - dip a toe into the surreal

That's it, everything else as a must own from my shelf has been noted above... I may add a few more now on the strength of this thread...
