Short wife = short legs. New cerb = she wants to drive it. Any ideas as to how to adapt the pedals so she can reach. I'm sure I've seen somewhere some 'flip-down' pedal adaptors but cant find them anywhere online.

Any ideas (bar moving the seat runner rails forward...)

Thanks
Jules

I think Leven do the pedal extension still, not sure how easily changeable they are in situ if you want to change the position as and when you change drivers. I guess all you need is a set so she can reach the pedals with seat farthest forward whilst still ok for you with, albeit maybe with the seat well back. Worth a call to Leven either way as they are the only people I know of who do that kind of thing.

I have the leven long reach pedals. Kit comprises new throttle arm with adjustable pedal (standard item does not adjust) plus 2 pedals to fit into the existing threads on the already adjustable clutch and brake arms. They adjust in the same way, i.e. winding them in and out on a thread with a lock nut. They just have a longer threaded bar than standard, and of course look nice and shiny!

Not really practical to keep changing them for different drivers though...

I have the leven long reach pedals also, I'm 6'4" & she is 5'6". I actually find it better with the long pedals as I can have the seat all the way back, which makes it lower & the pedals are in just the right place for me then. The standard ones were actually too far away even for me before. Just put the seat all the way forward for her now & it's fine.

We have them too and I keep an adjustable in the cockpit. Just slacken off the locknut and spin the clutch and brake pedals round. Me 'n' Mrs. Cerb often change twice on a trip to the UK. No Probs !!

If she is short and can't reach the pedals, but want's to drive it - move the pedals further away.

That should stop her! wink

Make sure the seat is actually as far forward as it will go.
Mine only went so far forward until i gave it a damn good shove and then I got a good couple of inches out of it (I'm sure some one will have a giggle at that lol)
