Would you keep the ticket as a souvenir without a refund?

Would keep the ticket only if I was assured there was/is a limit on the numbers so as to make it an investment.

I really can't see these tickets having any long term value, there must be thousands of the things...

Did they even print any in the end?

However, have you seen how many people have got screwed on ebay whereby they have paid for the tickets (outside of the 30 day payment protection) at some huge markup and then not getting any kind of refund.

I hear that ebay are going to refund but not sure on any details. How could they even afford to do so?

Lets say that 75% get a refund that will leave around 250,000 tickets! Getting quite rare!!

Nothing to say that they will not print more and sell them!

I've seen some of the tickets and they actually look good. There are severall different ones and I am sure they will be very collectable and gain in value as long as their is a sufficientl low limit issued.

They've said they're not going to print more just to sell so the ones in circulation are it essentially.

It's a massive attempt by the gig promoters to try and recoup some of the huge losses they are facing.

For every person they can pursuade not to go for a refund, the less in debt they are. They don't care about the 'collector' status of the ticket or it's value.

Ok, He's already sold two (granted we don't know at what price). Bet you if i make an offer of £5 it will be rejected. If I'm wrong I will also send you a fiver.

These things do have good value to collectors.

1999 football season I went to all Manchester United home games. I had a good feeling about winning the treble. At the Spurs game (where we won the league) I bought 10 programmes, my mates thought I was crazy! Did the same at Wembley FA Cup final and again bought 10 at the Barcelona Champions League Final!!

Ten full sets of Treble Final programmes (one set with the ticket stubs as well). All in mint condition. My mates are now gutted hehe Would you like to hazzard a guess as to their value?

Nope only insured for the first ten. The other 40 gigs they self insured!

In which case I would take the ticket and sell at a goodly profit.
