Kohlrabi

I've been given a purple kohlrabi which looks like it came from outer space. It came with the green leaves.

Looking around most recipes seem to be for soup / coleslaw variation / serve as a veg.

Any other ideas? At the moment I'm favouring the soup route.

I've cubed it and oven cooked it similar to a potato - quite nice! But that was in the winter, not sure what you'd do with it in the summer.

V cool looking though!
