Just heard an interesting climate statistic

Sort of. Technically, it's a financial one, but since he became a climate prophet Al Gore's personal wealth has gone from a modest three million dollars to over 83 million.
Whichever side you believe in the debate I think that's pretty hard evidence that some people have motives well beyond saving the planet. I realise that ranks up there with 'Pope believed to be catholic', but still...

Anyone seen him lately? he said he would call after I gave him all my cash for investing but not a peep, not so much as a text.....must be tied up somewhere. As for Al Gore...it was well known he had invested in lentils and other green stuff before he done his truth pish....plonker...albeit a rich plonker
That's a lot of money from a failed theory.
I fell asleep during the Incontinent Truth. I'm not sure it was his intention to make a load of wedge on the back of his bullshyte, more like to get the publicity.
But only in America can you have someone preaching all across the world, the damage planes are doing to our planet, providing there is an airport nearby.

Who benefits. I think we have our answer (but then we knew that already because Mr Gore conveniently invested heavily in carbon trading programmes did he not, just at the right time)..

Is the ability to accumulate wealth mean you're intelligent then?
Not at all. But given that "global warming" has become one of the most innovative cash cows ever, despite it failing to be conducted to the scientific method. I would say that in this particular instance there's every chance that the man is very shrewd.
He could also be another lentilist. Which is equally likely I suppose. But given his good grooming I would say he's just playing the game well.
