Air Con compressor refurbishers

Does anyone know of any company who refurbish compressors, £500 quoted for fit andsupply new one for an astra CD 1.9 diesel 3.5 years old.

i got one for a my03 astra from 1st choice spares for about £100 of your great british pounds and its still working a year on...

out of curiosity who says it needs one..?

Its my friends car,he took it to his local garage, and they said it needs a new compressor,

I'd just find one from a breaker. They are not THAT hard to swap, an hours labour tops, then the re-gas.

£100 part + £100 labour/re-gas sounds more like it (imho)
