I'm interested to know what options there are for when I want to make the exhaust louder on my Tuscan.
Is it possible to decat them without too much hassle like upsetting the way it runs at alland I've heard off CCCs what are they?
How much does it cost for either of them?
and is there anything else that can be done? (exhaust or induction)

CCC's (Carbon Can Company) end cans look similar to standard ones although come in various coulor's/finishes, the difference is they have a straight through pipe in the middle of them rather than perforated silencing material and for that reason are deeper sounding and louder than standard end cans.
I have NTEL decats and Blue Flame Titanum end cans on my Tuscan S which have similar silencing material to standard end cans, the engine actually picks up much quicker and feels more torquey and this is without re-mapping.It is also quiet a bit louder than standard above 3500 RPM.
Only possible issue with decats is MOT time, but some do get through OK if re-mapped or it can just depend where you go

IMHO the nicest noise is when the standard setup has the end cans sleeved.
There are threads on here that explain the detail, but basically you bash a piece of stainless tube into the end can; having removed it first!
With all the windows up, the exhaust is muted enough to not be intrusive. You can barely hear all the pops n bangs on overrun either. However people you overtake will wind down their windows as you pass to listen.
If you wind down a window, or better still remove the rear window, the noise is simply gorgeous. You get the full growl and snarl of the SP6 with all the pops n bangs as well.
In addition I can just creep under the 105db noise limit for some tracks as long as I hold her steady and she doesn't pop n bang at all.
You will set off the odd car alarm!

Ive got sleeved cans and also decatted. Sounds as i think a TVR should sound! Great pops and bangs, nice general exhaust note but honestly unbeatable on either full chat or backing off at about 3k revs!
I love the noise, but its just for the weekends, others might think its alittle OTT for everyday...certainly gets the attention though!
