Managed to aquire some spare springs for the master today, as these tend to go fairly often I thought it would be wise to keep a few handy.
When I took my old cylinder apart the spring broke in my hands, bit of a weak point really.
Seal kit for 11 quid and a spring for pence and my old master will be as good as new.

Link for the seal kit.

I got the springs through work, they were from BTP - Bearing Transmission + Pneumatics ltd in Derby, they measured my old broken one to get the sizes. I'll try and get a part number later

Update, bit of an issue with the new springs, when I tried to put one in the cylinder it turns out the internal diameter was 0.5mm too big. So I have managed to find a stainless one of the same sizes and have some on order, when they arrive I'll try it in my old unit and post results on here along with part number and internet link. Fingers crossed they will be correct.

Springs arrived today!!
Have tryed one in my old unit and it fits a treat, have not tried it on the car but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. They are stainless steel so hopefully a better quality than the st steel used as standard.
I have one spare so if anyone wants it they can for a fiver posted.
I paid £17 for three due to high postage costs from spring supplier.
