Had Bridgestones on the back of the Griff, very good tyre. yes I put those BF Goodridge ones on. Found them miles better than the Marshalls that were on there before. I think Toyo & Bridgestone are the best compromise for wet/dry grip & sidewall strength. Got Avons on the back at the mo & theyr'e crap. thumbup

Not yet, I think it'll have to be cheap because of the history. In negotiation at the mo. scratchchin

I was out on the bike, roads were grippier than Velcro knickers on a fraulein. I was decking the tank badges on every roundabout... honest! hehe

I'd have gone out in the 390 but there's the small matter of tax... can't do it online as it's been SORNed, have to go to some place called a 'Post Office'...

I've just taken a look at whats available and there really is only the Toyo T1R for about £110 ~ 120 each.

Good tyre too.

Tony,

As has been suggested Toyo's are about all that's left.

I always had two sets of wheels, one for the dry and one for wet...

Agreed - for looks and dry weather grip - the best ever.

It's driving in torrential rain that we had for the last few summers that I hated.

Two sets sounds ideal.

Totally agree with Rev, 888's fantastic in the dry but very unnerving in the wet, my old wheels with the T1R's will be going back on the autumn, not only for the grip but the lattice wheels dont' need polishing every 5mins like the SE ones!
