Next question - schools!

Well, a month on and we still haven't found a place. Though we have narrowed it down!
So now my next question - any views on junior schools in the Arborfield/Shinfield area? I've done a bit of research and not been entirely overwhelmed with the effusive praise of the Ofsted reports for the area, so the next best thing is to ask the people whose children actually go there!
I looked at Shinfield Primary today and discovered Ofsted had given it a resounding 4 (4 being the worst grade...), is it all that bad?? And any views on the junior school that's just merged with the Coombes school? I seem to be getting mixed messages on this one re. the laissez-faire attitude of the school to uniform and structured teaching - but nobody seems to know anything about the standard of education on offer.
