Not sure how valid this is, but reading on another forum, there appears to be a car theft ring operating in or around London, allegedly a handful of GT3 & RS have gone in the last week or so.
worth being extra careful if leaving the car anywhere over the weekend.

Susprising that such a specialist vehicle is being targetted on a large scale basis. Guessing they can break the cars up and sell the bits to racers/trackday people.

If the GT3 model becomes known as a higher theft risk, this could crucify values due to the costs of insurance in the same way the ford cosworths were killed off sales wise in the early 1990s.

Edited to say Ted, can we a have a new smiley please. Something that shows a couple of smilies wearing PH rugby shirts dishing out a punishment beating to a scrote.

Yes this is true. I heard that one was stolen and they left the Tracker on the floor of the guy's garage and two days later a second one had a hole cut in the bonnet where they were hoping to get the alarm out and both doors drilled before they were disturbed.
Anyone with a GT3 needs to be aware of this and upgrade their security as these are pros stealing to order and the police say the cars are never recovered.
