I've got some Chimay Blue from 2005 in my wine fridge which I will drink one day, as an experiment. It's looking very yeasty at the moment. I've heard it does age quite well, but not for much longer than 5-10 years.
I suspect the beer from teh 50s, kept in the garage will be pretty much undrinkable. But maybe worth something to collectors.

Chimay Blue can (apparently) last for 20 years. I have bottles from 2002, 03 and 04 waiting to be drunk at an opportune time I suspect the beer from teh 50s, kept in the garage will be pretty much undrinkable. But maybe worth something to collectors.
