Night time contact lenses

I'm not sure I'm reading that right. Does that mean that there are contact lenses which you wear while you sleep, then take out in the morning and your sight is fine for a day?
I'm looking to the PH collective to explain that one, if you can!
I remember hearing about them last year. Only people with certain eye defects can use them. They are 'stronger' than regular day lenses and IIRC they shape your cornea by holding it in a fixed position over night. Over a certain time, 2 moths/2 years (cant remember)your corneas stick to the new position.
Think of them as braces for your eyes.
