I'm not sure I'm reading that right.

Does that mean that there are contact lenses which you wear while you sleep, then take out in the morning and your sight is fine for a day?

I'm looking to the PH collective to explain that one, if you can!

Never heard of them... Specsavers don't stock anything like that, only thing close are contact lenses that you can wear when you sleep and during the day... continuous wear ones.

I remember hearing about them last year. Only people with certain eye defects can use them. They are 'stronger' than regular day lenses and IIRC they shape your cornea by holding it in a fixed position over night. Over a certain time, 2 moths/2 years (cant remember)your corneas stick to the new position.

Think of them as braces for your eyes.

does what it says on the tin.....same effect as pushing on your eye to sharpen the image (which i do for subtitles if i cant find my specs!)

i was going to use them but went with laser in the end.
