I've seen scant media coverage of this, which is a crying shame - the battalion are staging a parade up the Royal Mile tomorrow sometime between 9 and 2. I got those times from the parking restriction signs outside my local (The World's End) frown (Early half will probably be inspection at Holyrood)

All I can find online is a rough guess of 11:45.

They're back from a tour in Afghanistan and are taking a Challenger II up the Mile in the process biggrin (Anyone's who's been in town in the last couple of days might have noticed all the bins have been removed - paranoid council).

Just a heads up smile

(I've commandered a friend's flat window on the World's End crossroads (Mile/St Mary's St))

Looks like it might be a bit earlier - the Dragoon Guard's Pipe Band are involved and they're citing 11am

Bit underwhelming tbh - probably down to the lack of crowds frown Also, no Challenger, but a Scimitar (I think) instead.

Erm, where are the RSBs? That's the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards parading - good to see anyway!

Media win again - that's what the one article I could find about it said it was, and I couldn't tell you what regiment was which. Ta for the clarification.

Further info. for those in Glasgow - the RSDG will be parading in George Square and marching down West George St tomorrow (Friday), 11AM - 1PM. There will be a Scimitar and a Challenger 2 in the centre of Glasgow.

That is all.
