LSx T56 gearbox and Mcleod twin plate clutch.

Not sure if this is the right place but I've been asked to sell these new parts by a customer. So, it's a brand new unused lsx T56 that's never been fitted to an engine for sale.

Also, there's a twin plate Mcleod clutch, good for 1000 bhp or thereabouts. This comes with a steel sfi rated flywheel. I don't think Mcleod are making these any more unless you really twist their arm.

Off-topic, but a couple of years ago I had a phone conversation with 'Red' McLeod about their T56 relocated shifter mechanism. After getting the usual clueless responses to basic questions from the US distributors I called McLeod directly from here in New Zealand, and was suprised to find myself put straight through to the man himself. He came across as a real southern gent and couldn't have been more helpful even though I was just buying one relatively low value part.

The shifter mechanism I bought was ideal for a T56 Cerb conversion, and since I went with a TKO can now be found in Richard's supercharged Cerb, which I hope will be hitting the streets any day now.

Not any more. The link says there are new owners but he's returned as the president. I always found him very helpful.

Wonder if it was him I spoke to when I phoned direct with a problem? I had fitted a McLeod Magnum Force clutch and McLeod hydraulic release bearing and the seals on swivel input/bleed lines had given up within a year. Called direct for a gripe and put through to a helpful gent who explained how to remove the replace the seals if I wanted to do an immediate fix, but there was a redesigned unit and if I sent mine back to the US they'd update it. Although I did send mine back, in reality they posted off a new unit to me FOC immediately and it arrived in the UK within the week. Can't fault the customer service
