Anyone going to Waddington today or tomorrow?

If today, feel free to be nice to those of us in hi-vis stuck doing traffic duty. It's my weekend off yet i have to be directing traffic in the sweltering heat.

And tomorrow Mrs Gti insists we go and take baby gti to look at the planes.

Where can i buy a set of ear defenders for an 18 month old???

Bit late to be getting ear defenders, but I imagine there will be a stall somewhere at the airshow selling hearing protection. Have a scout around when you're on your break.

Traffic duty, eh? Can't say I envy you - all I had to do at Waddington a couple of years ago was stand beside a Firefly for half the day (and put 'Fly Navy' stickers on the Grob Tutors! )

Hope you and the family enjoy the show once you're off duty, and that it stays dry on Sunday!

We're going tomorow in the Griff, as we're exhibiting, so to speak, we've got to be there for 8.30 latest and can't leave until 6. Early start tomorrow.

I clocked up a nice 14 hour day yesterday in the sweltering heat......head is rather burnt today!!

Luckily I only recieved abuse from 3 members of the public.

Just glad I wasn't on some sort of traffic duty, I understand those guys really copped it
