Oil capacity

Guys with sbc - what volume of oil do you put back in when you have donean oil change. Ignore accusump - just engine volume.

Depends what size sump you have.
I find filling it up to the line on the dipstick works quite well.

i have a 7 or 7.5 quart sump (written down somewhere), so is this the total capacity?

Thats the correct amount to add if that's what the sump is rated for. But you also need to add enough to fill the Acusump. Lee
