World Hot Dog Eating Championships
Discussion
almost as good as the World Worm Charming Championships that were in Nantwich, Cheshire last weekend
why weren't they on telly ?
why weren't they on telly ?
The defending champion, Joey Chestnut has just retained his title. Edging out Kobayashi, the Rossi of eating, and 20 other contenders, each World Champions in one or more aspects of this sport, with a new World record of 68 hot dogs and buns in ten minutes.
He broke the record by nine 'dogs' and was four clear of Kobayashi by the end.
What a contest! What a man!!!!!!
I'll remember this day for a long, long time.
Carry on.

Its in the (local) news nearly every year. why weren't they on telly ?

Love this competition, though I didn't watch it. I just like the fact that they do it, and take it quite seriously. Kobayashi (runner up) keeps himself incredibly fit, just so his body can cope with the ridiculous quantity of bread and meat (well, as much as a US frankfurter contains meat).
