Eventually bought one.....

My Wife picks up her late 54 PLate MCS on Wednesday!!!
In the end i went to my local Mini dealer and bought it through Mini Cherished. For me this was the best option in the end, as you get the piece of mind of the Warranty etc etc. Plus, every other non Main dealer car i looked at was a bit 'scruffy' while every one i looked at with the Main Dealer were immacculate.
Anyway, in the end she decided on the Hyper Blue (gorgeous colour!) with white roof, mirrors and wheels with nice extras!!
I'll post pics as soon a she picks it up.
Thanks to everyone who helped with all my Q's in previous posts!!

Yeah, hyper Blue is sooooo nice!!! TBH, i havent seen many Hyper Blue ones around my way.
My Wife picks it up wednesday, she can barely sleep already with the excitement she says!!! I'm glad she's happy, for the past 10yrs, i've always chose the cars i wanted so it was nice to see her excitement over a car for a change!!

It depends what you're looking for from a site.
mini2- good for parts and if you need advice on how to fix a problem
totalmini- similar as its largely those who left mini2
minitorque- the best site in my opinion, very busy with a focus on performance
motoringunderground - brilliant for seeing how they do things on the other side of the pond
Plenty of regional sites too which are good for the social side of things, northernmini and newminscotland in my case.

Sounds about right. Totalmini is very chatty, a bit light on technical info, more focused on cosmetic modifications, good for finding out about runs/events though. Mini torque is more technical/performance orientated and seems to have some very knowledgeable members, with some impressive dyno numbers. Mini2 is not as busy as it used to be, but has loads of useful information if you search around a bit.mini2- good for parts and if you need advice on how to fix a problem
