What diff do you have? I noticed you were changing up way before you red lined it! Is this the way to go in drag racing?
Fraser told me it would be better to change up at about 5700rpm. I did that once and got my better time. I guess you reach max power in each gear approx 500rpm before the red line??
Cant wait to get back out there to practice what I've learned.

Unlike you, Mel, I'd only done 2 runs before Shakeys. So I'm still learning. Power does peak about 5700 and torque peaks at 4500. I'm having to change to 4 early to get decent trap speed.

I tend to be wary of losing speed by actually hitting the limiter. I'd hope to not drop too much below 4500 when I go up each gear. Best time 13.7 and best speed about 105, so not too bad. Diff is standard, 3.46 if memory serves. I think the car would do nearer 13 with a proper driver and/or burnout.
