PLEASE HELP,bora v5 missfire / running lumpy

Can anybody out there help me please?i own a vw bora 2.3 v5 150bhp 10v engine ,the car has developed a intermitant missfire,and seems to be running lumpy and seems to lack power.ive changed the plugs but its still the same ,some people are telling me its the coil some say lambda probes,others are saying temp switch .can somebody please shed some light on the situation for me as i dont want to buy the wrong parts and the problem still occur.

First and best thing to do would be to get it Vagcommed

If its lambda it will log a fault code, same with temperature sensor.

If its a coil, and I suspect it is, it will just say missfire on cylinder whatever.

Thanks alot for the info people,i had it vagcomd and it displayed no faults,so gona change the leads tomorrow ,and then the coil if the leads dont do the job,thanks again ,remey
