Just a quickie, I've found a company in Wakefield that now does detailing, more by accident than searching for them. Up to press I've been sceptical about the cost/benefit of detailing, but since I've now got a 20 month old rangey rather than a fresh out of the box car, I thought the paintwork could do with freshening up.

Anyway to cut a long story short call in to Lifestyle Motors on Doncaster Rd, and they have just started doing detailing. They understood my cynicism, and persuaded me to give it a go. They spent over 2 days doing the exterior, which was covered in sap, tar, bird S**t and loads of swirls, before moving onto the interior.

This cynic is truely converted, the car looks amazing, and I've never seen water bead like it before. I don't know the exact products used, but the mentioned the brands as dod juice (?) and smartwax.

I'll try and talk them into a ph discount if anyone is interested.

Is that Tony Spears?? I know he was getting somewhere.....he did my boxster when I first got it. Brilliant guy and well worth the money. Think he's doing cars over two days rather than trying to get it all done in one day but still much better value than some....best 250 quid I spent. Takes me an hour a month to wax my car now. He will be doing my M3 very soon too.

Cant recommend him enough

It depends on the condition of the vehicles paintwork/Interior, what level of detail the owner requires and how big the car is.

Tony has always completed my car in one day.

He completed my car in one day as well but he did say to my wife that it was getting too much to fit that amount of work into one day.....he did inside and outside of mine in one day.

So who is up for coming to my free detailing demo day on the 16th Aug?
I did one earlier in the Year at Porscheuro which was a great turn out.
There will be lots of traders attending but better still i will be doing a raffle
to win a free exterior paint correction on any car .

It will be held at www.lifestylemotorcompany.co.uk.

Is that the place off the side of Fall Ings Road, or is it off the main road (Doncaster Road)?

I might be pretty interested in that.

Is this Spearsy's website then?
http://www.autoshinespecialistvaleting.co.uk

Where do you work from Spearsy?

Cheers

Haha, car of the week. That Golf Convertible was on there for about 8 weeks hehe

May well pop in there then. I work just out of Wakey to the East, but bob down there fairly often, sometimes for a bacon buttie at the Cabin, or into Wakey proper.

You want to see about Ecurie 25 down that way now (just on past Sainsburys iirc), they might want a supercar detailer or similar!?!?
