Over the last year or so I've began finding ships more interesting and have went out of my way to snap a few. On hearing that the massive Crown Princess was making a visit to the Forth River, I decided to take a drive down to snap the 113,000 ton beast!

It's certainly impressive but not very beautiful. It's got a Las Vegas esque look of excess about it.

Do those kind of cruise ships make ocean crossings? I thought they just stayed in the Med or Caribbean, unlike the Cunard ocean liners which look like they are built for bigger seas.

I suppose even if they were just built for calmer seas they have to get to the different places where they do the cruises each season. Does anyone know about this stuff?

Yep they do make ocean crossings they are called repositioning cruises. You can book on them for a one way cruise and they are generally a bit cheaper.
