very nice, the short top tube on Cube bikes should make them quite nimble, a bit uncomfortable for me though as i like stretched frames frown

those tyes will be lively come the autumn/winter too! :P

Fair play.

i actually tried too get that bike but they were all sold out,i didnt really
want too go over a grand but the only choice left was a ltd race, but i didnt like the blue and white and think the all black is a bit boring,so he talked me into the reaction, its a completly different frame and the fox forks are around £600 to buy on there own, plus i really wanted a red and white bike, originaly was going for a ltd team in red and white but wanted a better group set than that bike came with.

Well mine should hopefully be here by the weekend so lets hope we both enjoy
our new toys.

regards.

Wow it really does look quite short compared to my Trek (even taking into account mine is in a mahoosive size).

odd isnt it. 18" frame with 22.5" top tube. on paper it sounds just about right but i would love to ride one to see what its really like... their road bikes are quite compact too.

My top tube (21.5" frame) is nearly 2 inches longer than the 22" Cube. That's quite a big difference. It'd probably make me a bit nervous on steep descents.

The top tube on my Cube Stereo is pretty short, to the extent that I fitted a slightly longer stem. Despite that, standover on my 20" frame is marginal.

It's possible that the geometry suits german bodies better than west europeans, as they seem to have longer legs/shorter backs than us.

Personally, the geometry now suits me very well indeed, and I find it preferable to the more stretched out position on my Scott.
