I know a good few of you guys/girls like a bit of drag racing, The mkiv supra owners club has rented Santapod for us again on saturday the 8th of august, there is a good few spots going free at the moment so get your names down and come and have a great day out with like minded car enthusiasts.

Only 27 cars listed at the moment so you will have all the tracktime you want, last year was great, you could basically just drive round and round with no ques.

Ive been given permission by Branners the mkiv Supra club owner to offer you guys in on the great day out.

Full details in the link below, its £65 for all days fun on a fully preped drag strip and if you fancy a bit of drifting thats £35.

Hopefully see some of you there

Cheers Jamiesmile

Jamie is doing low 11's from memory. Remember this is a preped track so lots of grip! smile
Thats why Im going, need to get into the 11's before Big G does!
Getting some of them sticky drag tires for the day as well this time. Doubt IL match Jamie but IL have a go!

Some supra times listed here. smile

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=1663...

Last year i got beat by two cars, one was 11.2 and one was 11.5 iirc.

I did a 11.7 @ 126mph with 480rwhp on 19" wheels, 2 second 60ft.

This year i currently have 536bhp atw's but am going for more boost soon on a C16 race fuel map, still on stock engine.

I also have some 15" weld drag wheels to hopefully bring my 60ft down and im hoping for a 10 second 1/4.

Cheers Jamie, Will look into sorting out the rubber on mine as a bit pointless till I can actually get the power down. £55 for supra members too smile

With the external wastegates a lot of the guys have problems keeping the noise down for events like that, id be confident of mine doing a good speed there.

Is their a limit on the total number of cars allowed on this event?

Only asking as it could spiral from the number confirmed so far and would limit track time?
