Cannonball Vid

DVD to be launched in January

Cannonball Run Europe is to host the UK film premier of the Cannonball Run 2003 DVD 'Chasing the Cannonball' on Friday 23rd January 2004.

'Chasing the Cannonball' is the documentary film which draws on exclusive footage of the madness and excitement of Europe's craziest road rally. Autumn 2003 saw Cannonball Run Europe play host to over 70 vehicles ranging from Ferraris to a Californian Highway Patrol Car and navigate them across two continents and five countries.

Billed as the 'Drive of Your Life', the rally witnessed over 120 Cannonballers each clock up over a staggering 3,000 miles at speeds of up to 150mph whilst taking onboard video of breathtaking scenery and generating plenty of tales to tell.

The premiere of 'Chasing the Cannonball ' will be held at the Coppid Beech Hotel, Bracknell, Berkshire on Friday 23rd January 2004 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £100 per person and in addition to the exclusive screening include a champagne reception, 3-course meal, nightclub entry and a personal copy of the DVD. Tickets are available from www.cannonballruneurope.co.uk

The DVD will be on general release from spring of 2004.

The preview is a '.mp4' file.
Real player, Windows Media Player and DivX don't want to open this file. Anyone know what player to use?

Apple Quicktime 6.1.1 plays MPEG-4 (MP4) files.

If you don't have it already here it is.

Hello

Saw that program....was excellent.

I live very near Wakefeild (as I think thats what you said on the program), mail me through my profile if you want to go for a blast sometime. There are quite a few of Yorkshire PH's meet up regular to go boozing or for a blast (we had a good one on Boxing Day in fact) - you are very welcome to come along

Best Regards

MOD.

The one on MotorsTV is not the same as the one with the blue RS4 and Rev Bob, but it looks like the one being premiered IS the same one as on MotorsTV as it says it includes two continents.

Mad Rob is a serious understatement! His overtaking move on the Range Rover was insane. He did the american one in an F50... i think this bloke is a bit wealthy!

MAD is an understatement for that overtaking move,
you could hear the cameraman or whoever say hell as he did it.
The weather wasn´t up to much either, hope it´s nicer next year for them

Mad isnt the word, he did a lot worse than that on the run and openly accepts he doesn't think he'll survive to 35 years old.

The TV program has only the 'sane' bits in and the DVD has all the mad stuff in (I was the blue VX220T with teeth on it).

Was a great laugh and I'll be doing it next year methinks.
