I need to top up the power steering fluid in my 2002 RS6, the handbook doesn't say what fluid it takes, does anybody know I presume being Audi it will not be ATF?
All audi PAS fluid is the same, pop into the local dealer and ask for a bottle. For some reason even thought most of the racks are ZF (like every one else) they dont use dextron III (like everyone else)
Genuine VAG stuff - G 004 000 (it was G 002 000, but this was superceeded years ago, dispite even the latest PAS resevoir caps still having the old number on them).
And this is actually made by Pentosin - CHF 111 (I think), which might be cheaper from motor factors.
