How about some predictions for the tedium level of this one, compared to Silverstone, which was a bit of a dull race

Worse. Which is a real shame as the best circuit in the world is right next door.

Not got a prediction, but looking forward to a good race. Where's the best place to watch from at the 'ring GP circuit - I'm going out there to watch the Le Mans series in a few weeks...

The hotel balcony! can almost watch the race from your bed in that hotel!.

Alas, as I have an upcoming wedding, house purchase and hopefully a decent car purchase soon - we will be camping.
Last year we watched it from the grandstand by the first corner, which was pretty good. Just wondering if there are any other better spots...

In all fairness, the most exciting race start in the last few years was this race in 2007 when the rain came. Is it on Youtube?

Rain at the 'ring is a nightmare when it comes, the drainage is apauling and it can really throw it down. There is no point using the weather forecasts, the 'ring has it's own micro climate.

I am sure that you are being too cautious, John.
At the last GP at the 'ring, two years ago, there was a big rain and there were no serious drainage problems. Okay, so six cars did aquaplane off the track at the end of the pit straight, but I mean apart from that...
