Sagaris Seats

I've seen a few now (with a view to buying), but there seems a variety of different types of seats. Some have coloured backs, some not and some seem to have Tuscan seats.

Can someone explain the differences and what I should be looking for?

Coloured seat backs were a factory extra cost option.

The general concencious is that the early seats are better, give better support and hold you in place better. Also, on the early seats, another option was a hand pump operated lumbar support. I assumed this was standard but have seen a couple of Sags without this option. My Sag does have the lumber support and its well worth having on long journeys.

If however you are a bit larger than most, the early seats can be a little small, so the Tuscan seats fitted in the later Sagaris could be the better option as they are slightly wider.

I'm sure there may well be more to it than this, and someone else will be along shortly.

I think it all depends on body shape, personally I prefer the look of the early seats but they didn't fit me, I find the Tuscan seats very comfortable, my seat backs are in leather.

You can always just have your seats painted (as long as you someone who knows what they are doing with your TVR?!)

I had my seats painted and coated in carbon by Esser Works... fantastic job!

The tuscan seats are great on many levels especially if you like to track the car.

I remove the bottom pad which means you sit in the seat on track rather than in it. I have removed some of the foam from the back and the number one thing that is important is you can fit harnesses which you can not on the older seats.

With regards comfort I like the tuscan seats but I agree with the point above it is down to your body type.

To be fair both types are very heavy and if I could find some alternatives that fit well and look OEM I might change them due to the weight alone.

Well I am of the 6'4" type with rugby player build, so Tuscan seats look a better option, but i will try both.

Hi, I am just over 6'2 so yes you should be ok with the Tuscan seats. De cats are great and so is getting the right diff in the car if yours is a 3.4 (might be, might not be depending what the factory was doing the das yours was built).

Mine (2006 06 plate) has the Tuscan style seats and I find them much more comfortable on long journeys than the T350/Tam style seats.

I like the seats in the Sagaris MK 2. They are similiar to Porsche seats, very comfortable for great people and long journeys.
