We're camping in france in ~August and was wondering if anyone could advise what we would need to use the on-site electricity.

I know that UK sites use a 3 pin blue plug, do the continental sites use the same? Or do they use something different?

Thanks!

They just use the standard french plug outside. You can get a european hook up plug

All the ones we went to in June had standard blue 3 pin plugs, but you can get a converter to the French plug just in case.

My site just takes the standard French plug.Weather proof plugs have not really caught on like they have in the U.K.(Caravan Club sites)
