Can anyone help. I am changing my coilpacks ( on plugs) to a single coil pack and HT leads on my VW 20v T engine. My ECU is set up for digital coils .

I am looking for a 4 pin digital coil with combined amplifier to use . Does anyone one know where I can buy one ?

Thanks

You'll struggle there.

Most 4 towers will be wasted spark style ( or is that what you intend ? ). Not sure what powerful ones are out there in that style.

A 99/00 Subaru uses a 4 tower, with built in driver. But from memory its only a 3 wire, although might be 4.
Probably not the most powerful coil out there though.

If it was me....I'd buy a set of 4 LS1/2 coils and use them. Very powerful, and compact.

To add...

Id reccomend buying a full take off for teh coils from a US source.

That said, your local Haltech dealer will resell LS coils brand new, with a pigtail, at I think about £65 each or thereabouts.
So would be your faster option.

or 034 motorsport might sell some good powerful coils

I'm sure you are aware of them ?

The later VAG 8v engines (1.4, 1.6 and 2.0) use a wasted spark coil pack with built in driver. The are pretty cheap as well, aftermarket ones can be had for about £30.
