Call of Juarez - xbox360
Discussion
Played a couple of hours in bound in blood and its ok but very samey .... On the other hand it looks great and some very nice locations
The first "level" is you fighting in the civil war and is quite good, but just replace the guns with Springfields and MP44's and you have any COD/MOH game. There is horse riding and lasso'ing to break up the constant shooting but in the end its just a generic FPS with cowboy guns. The dueling is pretty pants and gets annoying.
Will return to it this weekend but it hasn't drawn me in unfortunately

I got this at the weekend and really like it. Dont get me wrong, its not as accomplished as gears or killzone, but a good back to basics FPS shot em up. The time zone is a refreshing change form WW2 or some futuristic enviroment, and the weapons satisfying to use despite the period.
Im an older gamer (mid 30's, just about get away with that still!) and so enjoy this more simple kind of game then some other dark and oppressive style that perhaps the younger gamers prefer.
Personaly, I'd give it 8 out of 10, just a shame you cant online co-op, a trick missed (also would of been good if you could gamble your money with some poker!)
