You could get a STD 400SE and then retro fit a better engine.
Keep the original, and swap back if you sell, and sell the 5.0 or 5.3 on it's own, and you should get most of your money back.

You could have my 400 for around 5 grand.
Chassis done, almost new OE clutch, low-miles motor with new cam, etc,etc....ideal for supercharging. biggrin Runs purrrfect, but I'm getting too old. frown

Sorry no...pre-serp...but the handbrake works. biggrin

Just minor cosmetics needed.. Spent £2,500 this last year. Clutch, brakes, lights, engine mountings, adj. fuel reg',plus a couple of rolling road sessions on top of that.

Steve,

That is nice. I'd like a bay like that but don't wish to take my car off the road which means finding a breaker to buy all the bits and swap over once finished.

Where in the country are you as I'd like to see the car sometime?

PS. Where did you find the Martini stripes?

Tis a fine example, probably one of the top 10 best presented wedges around.

Steve would be mad to sell it, but if circumstances change frown
