Yeah - it sucks.

And what sucks even more is that I don't have a tv aerial frown

I had Sky jitters for a few minutes earlier - i think electrical storms have that effect anyway.

Well for someone who hasnt posted in TV&S in the last year at least, what does he expect us to do, drop everything to help him google a car hire company. Get a bus to the Airport, all the car hire places are open all weekend.

Obviously some of us do have a life and it revolves around going out with mates to various events, not helping some daft fker without any sense.

Must catch up for an AG one evening.
The new egg chasing season will be here soon.

If that was Dizzee I would have put my foot down as there was massive

It also depends on the weather at the uplink station. Sky's uplink is near Southampton but some other 3rd party uplinks are in London and the surrounding areas. So if you lost some channels and not others then the probability would be that the uplink site has bad weather rather than you. A few days ago one of the 3rd party sites lost 100 channels and the Sky ones were ok.

The issue with Sky and the weather is what's known as rain fade. If you want to get around it you need a bigger dish smile

Laziness prohibits me from typing out what rain fade is all about...

Waiting for my next victim....
Some prety big puddles along route as I diverted from Milford through Elstead and Tongham owing the a shunt on the A3 at Shackleford.
Was waiting a the bridge lights in a 7 tonner, just got the green to go and along comes jonny the color blind cyclist.....

No doubt your checking out your new abode.
