Does this sound right.

My 2 year old 2.7 RRS HSE is in at dealer currently. I've had it about a year now.

Whilst servicing it, I'm told that the front and rear pads are 95% worn at 24,000 miles.

Anyway, cos they're servicing the park brake under warranty, the rear pads will cost about £150.

They've now quoted £262 to do the front pads, so got a second price from ATS who've only quoted about £60 to do the job FFS.

Can this be right?

One thing to remember is Land Rover charge 100 GPB an hour for Range Rover.

Up to you what you want to do, but I would check that ATS will use genuine brake pads. Also, the warranty implications.

You have a premium product, from a premium brand... expect to pay wink

You could always do them yourself. It's a pretty straightforward job and there's not much to go wrong as long as you are not a total fkwit with a spanner. You will need to change the sensor at the same time (which is also not difficult).
