Happened to pass a jeweller in Cardiff yesterday with a fair few TW Steels in the window. Obviously they're not 'up there' with the usual manufacturers but for between £195 and £500 some of the less bling designs looked OK for an everyday beater.

Anyone know much about them ?

I tried one on and looked into them a bit. They're perfect if you like really big chunky watches. I don't think that they're really any different in quality than any other run of the mill quartz watch. They seem to be durably built and BIG, but as far as prestige or unique qualities, it looks to me like they're trying to follow styles of U-Boat, etc. I think that I remember that their quartz movts. are Japanese. Don't remember about their autos - not sure if they're also Japanese or Swiss. Nothing spectacular, but not really anything special in my book.

Yaeh, was talking to Mrs MoJo last night about getting one to save me wearing my Sub everyday, have now decided against the whole daily beater idea and to put my money towards a Panerai next year (which will be a far nicer addition to my small but growing collection !! )

Mate of mine has one. He's a scrawny little bugger though, and the massive watch on him makes it look like something Flava Flav would wear. Hideous.
