Problem...needle valves have lasted less than 3 months before premature pitting has lead to float chambers flooding. Have managed to locate some 200 viton tipped valves but need 250s.
Any advice on availability would be good, as would
other people's experience of this premature pitting.
I am using 98 octane unleaded Shell fuel with Millers Turbo booster - maybe the mixture is becoming caustic after being left in hot carbs for short time (Triple DCNFs on V6 Essex) and then a periods of a few weeks without use?
