Great site for new and old drivers alike
Discussion
Hi all,
I've recently bought my 280i and this site has proved really useful to enable me to better understand the composition of the car, thought I'd share it:
http://tvr.me.uk/index.htm?sv&http%3A//tvr.me....
Click the links on the left of the nav, there are a few good restoration photos, wiring diagrams and exploded views of various components. It has made me realise how simply the car is constructed, its simplicity is quite beautiful but you can also see why the outriggers are a common weakness on the car when you appreciate where they are located and what they are supporting.
It's also given me a fair amount of confidence to work on the car myself, I've identified a fuel pipe leak which I'll take a look at sometime this week.
"The worlds funniest go-kart" indeed.
Kevin.
