Dips flashing as well as mains?

Hi all, I noticed at the weekend that if I flash my headlights the dips are now coming on as well as the mains. It wouldn't be the end of the world but as I've got HIDs in the dips, which don't like being flashed I'd like to get it sorted.

It's a new problem that has come about since the battery was disconnected and all the footwell wiring pulled out and put back in the other week. Is it likely that something has been disturbed? A quick search hasn't bought up anything on this specific problem but something similar made some reference to a diode in the footwell. I've no idea if this is related in some way or where to start looking...

Any help much appreciated!

Andy, just had to park a car in front of the Griff to see what happens! Anyway on flash my mains and dipped come on, which is what I would expect so nothing wrong with yours it may seem?

Thanks Bob, pretty sure it never used to do it though, perhaps I just never noticed with the old candles?

Can anyone else confirm what the norm is?

My dips come on with the driving lamps too and im pretty certain they are meant to...
