Roundabout Confusion
Discussion
I regularly use the roundabout pictured below. As I read it the routes marked in green, pink and red would be the correct way to use the roundabout. I generally use the red route marked with the yellow dot at the end. However I often end up in conflict with people using the route marked in blue.
What are peoples opinions on this? Am I using the roundabout incorrectly?

It looks like you are correct in what you are doing.
Presuming the lane markings for the middle lane are A630[N] and a straight ahead arrow. If that is the case the route in blue isn't a route and the route in purple of the 1st exit isn't one either..

I too would say that the route you have highlighted in blue would have to be careful under all circumstnaces due to the lane change. Ignoring the red routes, a blue route driver would still have to be careful changing lanes which may bring them in to conflict with traffic that is already on the roundabout using the inside lane.

Ah, sorry, I should have mentioned this in my 1st post. The roundabout is also traffic light controlled, presuming nobody runs a red light all lanes will be empty. Gassing Station | Roads | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
