Oh Feck ! Uprated Camshaft info from those in the know

Had a diagnostic run on the rollers this morning and it look like my poor old camshaft is how shall we say ... shagged
Having seem the acreage set aside for cam discussions in this forum in the past few years ( at the time of no use to me so havn't really paid attention ) can you good folks give me a summary of what you know to be true about the choice of performance upgrades, as I feel the need to at least boost the performance to help justify the cost of replacement ( and also to make up for my woeful lack of driving talent )
Perhaps a summary as such
Cam Id - Pro's - Con's - Others mods required - Cost - Suppliers
This can maybe be kept somewhere for all to refernce as some "Wiki" or something ? I'll tidy up the info if you guys can let me know your thoughts, and I'll trawl through the seach facility when I can
I'm after as much performace increase as I can get away with, with no or minimal mods and good tractability ( don't want much do I ? )
What do ya think chaps ?

ps looks like the Growl numbers maybe down by one this year - Save me a big space in the "others" car park ;-)

There's no rush to chose but obviously I would like it sorted as soon as possible but can certainly wait til after the Growl

Just fitted a stealth to mine .Absolute bargain £350 full kit on ebay they are from v8 dev. Timing it in was fairly straight forward seeems nice and smooth and pulls better than before though mine was a little worn. The anoying over run rattles have now all gone, Many thanks to V8 dev for there help and advice.
