Insurance Broker

Hello,

Long time lurker here, currently after some advice.
Im 20 and i work in engineering. Unfortunatly im sick of it and hate my current job, so im looking to change career paths while im still young!

Have recently become interested in financial services especially insurance.

Are there any brokers here? Could do with an opinion on what the market is like and whats the best way of getting onto the bottom rung of the ladder.

Would a study from home degree be worth the work? Im really not sure how these are viewed. And then apply for a graduate training scheme.
Or try to get a junior position with A levels? (not sure if this is possible)

Hi Mate,

Im in a simular position however I already work in a role in the Industry, I find that alot of brokers offer a graduate broker scheme, failing that you may be able to get a jnr role within a energy / construction broker depending on your engineering experience?
