I phoned UPS and was told again that Microsoft were at fault, at this point the poor bloke at the end of the phone wished he was on lunch as the conversation went liek this -
Me - Hold on two seconds let me just move somewhere a bit more quiet
UPS -Yes no problem sir
Me - So are you able to sort out a pickup of my parcel that you DO know of and have known of for a week now or do i just keep waiting....
UPS - I'm sorry sir, but we get instructed by Microsoft when to pickup the parcel.
Me - So you have sent me a label that is practically useless until someone at Microsoft has told you for the second time to pickup up the parcel...
UPS - Yes
Me - What do you mean yes....I expect that if both yourselves and Microsoft have this automated service that works together to get this parcel collected, then it is done automatically.
UPS - There is no need for that tone sir
Me - There is every need for my tone, I have been told that this is a very simple automated process that usually work faultlessly, but obviously it doesn't. I even gave you my work address as I spend more time at work during the day then at home to make it easier....obviously that doesn't matter.
UPS - *quite sheepishly* Would you like me to organise a pickup for you sir.
Me - I would, thank you
UPS - We shall pickup your parcel between 9 & 5 tomoroow sir, I just need you to confirm your details.....
I subsequently thanked him for the eventual resolution (I'm not a complete b
d) and walked back into the main office to the applause of my colleagues

Nice work. Honestly, if Microshaft and UPS had a single brain cell between them they would be gifted.The xbox left my sight today at 8:55am......I think I may have scared the guy
But I'm still left with a long wait until I get my box back, so to pass the time I have purchased something I never had when I was young.........A SCALEXTRIC SET!!!!!!
