Some dealers appear to offer Walkinshaw exhausts and others Wortec. Are there pros and cons with either system or is one much better than the other? Any recommendations?

I'll let other express their views, but if you want to hear one, we have a Wortec one with electric switching on our demonstrator

I have Wortec with the electronic option to switch between loud and louder. Don't think it could be bettered ascetically or orally.

Mine was selected purely for performance smile

..still seemed to elicit plenty of positive comments on the various drag days.

I thought you and mystvxr had 2 of the best sounding cars at shakeys
both on and off the strip. It pushed me into getting shut of my stock exhaust and going for a wortec switchable, being fitted next week. The wortec tailpipes swung it for me over the walkinshaw.

I have the wortec catback on mine. Prettier looking pipes plus I have the electronic switch setting to alter noise levels which is real cool.
You can see this on YouTube, just look for wortec.

Get onto U Tube type in Wortec or VXR8 and you can hear the exhausts on your PC not as good as the real thing but might help .
