Hi,

Has anyone on here had any experience with writing for the BBC? Or working for the BBC with anything to do with writing?

I have been writing for a while now, and having scoured the internet for all the information I can find, so it would be great to chat with people who have had the experiences first hand. I would be most greatful if anyone could offer their insight into the process to give me an upper hand on the procedures and whatnot.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy

I specifically want to write sitcoms for the BBC and as the old adage goes, it's not what know, it's who you know. So, basically, I am asking a favour for strings to be pulled to be able to talk to someone who deals with new talent, preferably in sitcom, to get some feedback and some insider info on writing for the BBC.

Anything to get me into the hallowed question mark building in order to chat with someone relevant would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Andy
